Box Office Prophets

At the beginning of this year, I started writing a monthly column for BoxOfficeProphets.com, called Hidden Gems. In it I try and shine a spotlight on movies that may not be unknown, but are underseen or undervalued, I feel. I've decided to re-post these here on my blog as well, so that I have all of my writing on my blog and none get lost in the shuffle. Some are re-worked or expanded from pieces I've written here before, but I've decided to re-post all of them except the first piece, on Big Night, since I posted that under my Top Films list, as it's my all-time #1 movie.
